About Tiffany
I am a middle school math teacher with experience teaching 7th and 8th grade math. I am passionate about helping students understand math in a clear, supportive environment and building the confidence they need to succeed. I know that math can feel overwhelming for many students, and I work to make lessons approachable and stress-free. Teaching method and techniques:
I start by identifying what the student already knows and where they may be feeling stuck. I break math concepts into manageable steps, use real examples, and check for understanding frequently. I encourage questions and teach problem-solving strategies students can use independently, not just memorization.
Typical lesson plan:
Each session begins with a quick check-in or review of recent work or homework. We then focus on one or two key skills, working through examples together before the student practices on their own with guidance. I end each lesson with a brief summary and tips the student can use for homework or tests.

My lessons are designed for upper elementary and middle school students, as well as high school students up to 10th grade. I support students in 6th–8th grade math, Algebra I, and Geometry. I offer help with homework, concept review, test preparation, and building confidence for students who may need extra support or want to strengthen their skills.
