About Anisha

I am currently a junior in high-school and have previously taught this course multiple times to other students. I play volleyball and beach volleyball and I volunteer at the local animal shelter. My weighted GPA is a 4.3, and I have achieved a 5 on my Algebra EOC as well as the AP Precalculus Exam.

About the lesson

I am passionate about math and strive to make it accessible and enjoyable for all students. I understand that each student has unique strengths and weaknesses, and I tailor my teaching methods to meet their individual needs. Whether you are struggling with basic arithmetic or tackling complex calculus problems, I am here to support you every step of the way.

I believe that math is not just about memorizing formulas and solving equations. It is about developing problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and critical thinking abilities. I encourage my students to ask questions, explore different approaches, and think creatively to solve math problems.

My tutoring lessons will be based on the students' school assignments, questions or misunderstood concepts, or a full course breakdown. I have positive experiences with tutoring other kids as well as leading them to success. I love teaching Algebra and Pre-Calculus and I know the concepts by heart A typical lesson plan would include 10-15 minutes of the main concept being taught, 10 minutes of one-on-one practice, and the rest of class answering questions and moving towards advanced problems. I am mindful when it comes to tutoring and no question is considered to be "dumb" as I am here to help you become better in math. :)
