About Ranz
As an upcoming senior at Midwood High School:
-I will have a total of 9 AP classes taken
-AP classes include: World, Psychology, Calculus BC, Computer Science Principles, Statistics, English Literature, English Language, Computer Science A, and Government/Economics.
-All math classes taken: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Honors Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry (Covered in Algebra II), and Calculus BC with strong foundation in Precalculus, Calculus I, and Calculus AB. (Will take AP Statistics this coming fall)
-4.0 unweighted/weighted GPA (consistent over the past three years in high school).
-Currently studying for SAT/ACT with focus on math so I am obliged to teach that as well.
-Expected to graduate in June 2027
-Have helped friends and classmates with relevant coursework during class time

I am a dedicated high school student with a strong passion toward mathematics. I teach abstract concepts in ways that students don't have to just memorize formulas, but actually understand them in a way that is simple and easy to conceptualize. I am very patient with my clients and would gladly spend hours just to make sure they understand a topic. My lessons are for middle to high school students who are going to start Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II, Precalculus/Calculus, or SAT/ACT math. During each lesson, I work through problems in simple, easy-to-follow steps, while also encouraging students to ask questions whenever they feel stuck. Students can also work independently and ask for guidance or feedback whenever they need to. I am committed to building an environment where students can build strong mathematical skills and confidence.
