I am a military veteran with a degree in linguistics awaiting Medical Retirement, and I am eager to start my life after the military.
Methodology
My teaching methods adapt to whoever I am teaching. If they are more of a hands-on type learner I will let them try to figure things out before to step in to show them how its done. If they learn better by seeing, I will perform the task first, and then have them redo it, or if they learn best by listening, I will explain with words as best I can while they work through the task. I am very adaptable when it comes to teaching methods. Each student is different and requires special treatment.
Background
Currently serving in the USAF as an Avionics Technician for 3 years. I have a degree in Linguistics and have experience training, supervising, and teaching younger airmen how to complete job related tasks safely and correctly. I enjoy passing along my knowledge to others, and hope to become an educator in the future.
