About Iliyan

I am a Computer Science and MIS graduate at The University of Texas at Austin who has been teaching students for the past 8 years through my in-person and virtual sessions! I strive in teaching concepts to students of my age group or younger, comfortable with a majority of subjects that may come my way through vast tutoring experiences I have indulged in the past. About the lesson

In my lessons, I prioritize identifying key learning objectives, crafting engaging activities, and organizing lessons in a way that fosters meaningful understanding. I ensure every session concludes with a review to reinforce the student's grasp of the material. What distinguishes me as a tutor is my dedication to helping students not only learn new concepts but also clear up any lingering misunderstandings!

I tailor my lessons for students in elementary, middle, and high school across various subjects, with a focus on Math. If students have homework or a syllabus provided by their school, I structure lessons to complement their assignments, ensuring they stay on track. I’m also flexible in teaching concepts that students are particularly interested in exploring! For students preparing for tests or quizzes, we work through missed questions and focus on improving their readiness for future assessments.
