About Cannon
I am a PhD student at UCI who graduated from MIT with a degree in physics (go course 8!) I have worked at particle accelerators in the US and Germany, but I currently do theoretical astrophysics research. I have personally scored perfectly on many common exams and can bring my tools for success to the level of any student.

My approach is rooted in both the Socratic method and modern active learning pedagogical techniques. I've received university-level training in education methodology, along with developing my own style through over a decade of tutoring (I started tutoring calculus in the seventh grade). I have experience working with students from different educational backgrounds and welcome the process of getting to know my students and helping them reach their maximum potential through both quantitative practice and qualitative intuition building.
