About Jerry
"Teaching myself via cassette tapes as a kid eventually led me to a Bachelor of Music in Industry from Belmont University. That early experimentation with tabs taught me that formal study works best when mixed with a bit of grit. I have spent 13 years balancing those worlds to help students tackle everything from barre chords and scales to complex fingerpicking.
My approach stays honest because I know exactly how frustrating those first clumsy strumming patterns can feel. I am the teacher who drives to your living room with a full amp rig because music should be hands-on. My own path was not always linear and I hope yours feels like a genuine conversation."
