About Martina
With more than 9 years of experience teaching Guitar, I specialise in fun and engaging lessons for college students. My approach combines technical skill-building with creativity and interactive learning, ensuring students enjoy every step of the musical journey.
I cover chord practice, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, and songs, while simplifying music theory so it’s immediately applicable. I also use backing tracks, recordings, and interactive exercises to make lessons lively and effective.
Over the past 9 years, I’ve helped students perform confidently, master challenging pieces, and explore their own musical style. My aim is to create lessons that are enjoyable, motivating, and personalised for each student.

My guitar teaching approach combines creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I encourage students to explore music, experiment with chords and melodies, and create their own compositions. Lessons are designed to be interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful, helping students grow both technically and artistically.
Mentorship is key. I provide guidance, constructive feedback, and support to help students overcome challenges and build confidence. Critical thinking is emphasised through analysing songs, applying theory practically, and solving musical challenges independently.
Accountability ensures consistent progress. Together, we set goals, monitor improvement, and celebrate milestones. Lessons combine exercises, practice, and creative projects tailored to the student’s interests.
Alongside guitar, I teach music theory, improvisation, and composition. My aim is to develop confident, creative, and independent musicians who enjoy learning and expressing themselves through music.
