About Sandra
I have been a University Lecturer in Modern World History for over 20 years. I am very passionate about History and keen to share this enthusiasm with my students. I have been an academic and personal tutor to countless students over the years, and have been nominated for the Best Personal Tutor award. My dissertation students have won national and international prizes including the Roosevelt Centre prize for the Best US History dissertation. I want to help you succeed and develop your own passion for History.

I have lectured at University for over 20 years specialising in Modern World History and have a PGCAP Learning and Teaching in Higher Education . I have extensive experience with all HE levels from Foundation through to PhD. My teaching revolves around you, the student. I can either provide you with a lecture on a specific topic, discuss a topic with you to help you understand it better, go over a specific assessment etc. I recommend a one hour lesson but longer or shorter sessions are available depending on your needs. I have experience teaching students with mental health needs.
I have taught at University, but I am also happy to tutor A-Level students
