About Hattie
My name is Hattie Clark, and I am a third year Modern Languages student at the University of Durham. I have just come to the end of a year abroad, during which I spent 6 months living and working in France, and 4 months studying in Germany.
I am therefore well equipped to help students prepare for, and practise the necessary skills required at GCSE and A level.
I am very patient, and happy to adapt lessons to your needs (for example if there are any specific grammar or content points you would like to cover).
Language exams can be daunting, but I can give you simple techniques that will not only have you feeling much more confident, but will also set you apart from all other candidates.

For A level and GCSE students, I will refresh basic grammar rules with you. We will work through past papers together, and regularly practise all three skills required for the exams (reading, speaking and writing). I will also give you tips and tricks that will help to immediately push you up a grade boundary.
We will create a realistic schedule together for learning the vocabulary on the exam specification, and put it to use in lessons.
I am also happy to teach younger students from the age of 7 upwards.
I can be flexible in terms of duration, but typically sessions range from 30 minutes to an hour.
