About Davide
Vocal coaching / Singing lessons / Interpretation and songwriting
Singer-performer-composer, graduated at the Lausanne University of Music with a Master of Arts in Music (Jazz and Modern Singing, Performance and Composition), with several years of experience in the field of modern music (academically and practically), gives singing lessons (all styles!) on Lausanne, Pully, in the Lausanne region and ONLINE! More than 12 years of experience in the field with many collaborations in different musical projects, participation in the TV show The Voice, various other performances on TV, international tour with different musical projects, a European tour with the Vidy Theater, several studio and live recordings, still very active in the universe of music in general, as stage performer and Songwriter. Currently very committed also with his solo project (Dave De Vita). Always up-to-date and active at the academic level with a superior musical education (obtained at the University of Music Lausanne) in modern and jazz singing, musical theory, and to which is added a specialization in Performance and Composition, and a continuous study and research in the field of singing. Lessons in French, Italian or English.

To work on the voice, I mix modern singing techniques with more traditional, intuitive and valuable knowledge (on which - by the way - all modern vocal techniques are based). This balance allows the student to work on the voice with simple and effective exercises: clarity and pleasure are two keywords. All this, well balanced with pure practice (very important phase!), where we explore and sing many songs. We fiat music in bulk! So, in my classes normally I start with a little warm-up and work on the technique, with small exercises. Then we switch to practice, and we ... sing! We work directly on songs (normally chosen by the student), and thanks to that we put into practice the technical elements, but never forgetting interpretation, feeling, and automatism, enjoyment and the pleasure of singing and making music! Quite customizable courses, according to the needs of each student. For example, the possibility to work with the guitar/piano (I can accompany the student or I can do coaching so that the student can accompany himself), record his own performance as in a recording studio, MAO, Songwriting, etc.
So, also thanks to my practical and academic experience, I can vary the content of my classes a lot, all this for the benefit of students. Courses for every skill level!
