I am a Des Moines Actuary with a Bachelors in Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa. I have tutored college level students in courses ranging from Algebra to Calculus 3. I am skilled at simplifying complex problems into approachable, solvable pieces.

My approach to teaching is structured around the student's individual needs. Math is first and foremost based on fundamentals. By identifying and improving a student's fundamentals, the student learns to interact with the problem proactively. This method is intuitive compared to rote memorization and reflexive problem solving.
