About Susan
I currently tutor several students in grades Kdg - 2nd. I also monitor/assist a student in 8th grade. I am certified to teach grades 1st - 8th. I have taught Transitional-First/1st Grade for 20 years; tutoring for five. My experience includes: Reading comprehension strategies and skills, phonemic awareness, DIBELS testing skills, writing skills, Math strategies, addition and subtraction strategies and Common Core and State Standards. I am so excited that I have helped students improve their grades. I love that I helped one first grader bring her failing grade in Reading up to a passing grade to move on to 2nd! I am confident I can help your child, too.
