About Jack
I Love teaching and with my university degree in educational studies, I hope to use my knowledge of teaching to work in primary schools as a teacher. I am currently teaching a girl in year 10 who was struggling with her GCSE Maths in school, but has since gone from the bottom of her class to the top of her class in her recent testing. Previously taught two other students but only for short periods, had my current student for 5 months.

I am fluid teacher, whatever the student is feeling that week, can determine how I plan my lessons. Usually I will have devised a plan for that lesson but if one of my students has been taught something that they are unfamiliar or confuses them, then I will be all up for changing around things in my current lesson to suit their needs. I feel I give each student enough time to work things out for themselves but also have an input into pointing them in the right direction. I feel I am an approachable tutor, meaning that my students can ask me anything surrounding maths at any time but when a student is feeling bored of maths, as students have a short attention span, I can use my initiative to create a more fun environment to learn in.
