About Diana
One of the qualities I value most in my instruction is the ability to remain patient when progress does not happen immediately. Swimming can expose people to vulnerability in a way that many other activities do not. If you are uncomfortable in deep water, struggling with breathing or frustrated because a technique is not coming together, simply being told to “try harder” rarely helps. My experience has taught me to look beneath the problem and understand what may actually be holding you back. As a certified instructor, I use structured exercises, clear explanations and progressive practice to help you work through those barriers. I want every swimmer to know that they are allowed to learn at their own pace while still being encouraged to improve. You do not have to arrive at your first lesson confident. My responsibility is to help you gradually build that confidence until you begin trusting yourself in the water.

I design my lessons as a continuous journey rather than a collection of unrelated sessions. What we accomplish today becomes the foundation for what we work on next. I keep track of your development, identify areas that need reinforcement, and introduce new challenges only when the previous stage feels sufficiently secure. This creates a sense of continuity that allows you to see your own story developing from lesson to lesson. You should never feel as though you are starting from zero every time we meet. Instead, each session adds another piece to the bigger picture. Sometimes progress will be obvious; other times it may be a subtle improvement in confidence, control or decision-making. Both matter. My role is to recognize those changes, encourage you through the difficult stages, and help you appreciate how far you have already come while keeping your next goal clearly within reach.
