About Amanda
I had plans to study engineering at a degree level and therefore had taken Physics and Maths A levels, however I am currently studying Motion design at university. I have had experience teaching GCSE students in my free time at my boarding school in the evenings along side my A levels and also assisted year 9 students with prep after school. Once a week I would also help a neighboring school conduct maths prep sessions and so I have worked with a considerable number of students.

I allow my students to attempt the work on their own first as it allows me to see how they approach problems. I find it easy to teach because I typically explain solutions as though I were explaining to myself. As a recent sixth form graduate I understand how easy it is to get lost or confused with work so I do relate to the perspectives of my students more.
