About Betty
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic flute teacher with 8 years of experience teaching students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. I guide beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners from schools, colleges, and working fields. My teaching style is clear, organized, and supportive.
I start with breathing exercises, embouchure control, tone clarity, and accurate fingering before moving to advanced techniques and expressive playing. Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training to ensure complete musical development.
I believe consistent practice and proper guidance lead to lasting improvement. My unique ability is adapting my teaching approach to match each student’s strengths and goals. My aim is to make flute learning meaningful, confident, and enjoyable.

My flute teaching approach is centered on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity to nurture both technical skill and artistic confidence.
I emphasize core fundamentals such as breath support, embouchure alignment, tone production, finger agility, articulation, and rhythm accuracy. Regular practice routines are designed to strengthen consistency and control.
I personalize lessons to match each student’s learning preference. Some respond best to visual diagrams and structured notes, while others learn through listening and repetition.
Flexibility allows me to adjust teaching methods based on goals, whether academic exams, competitions, or personal musical enjoyment.
Collaboration ensures that students are actively involved in the learning process. We discuss musical interpretation and performance ideas together.
Positivity builds self-confidence and encourages disciplined practice.
Alongside flute instruction, I teach music theory, ear training, sight-reading, rhythm development, and foundational harmony to provide complete musical education.
