About Anne

I am a passionate French tutor with 8 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over this time, I have taught more than 150 learners, helping them achieve fluency, excel academically, and communicate confidently.

My teaching philosophy focuses on personalised learning, ensuring that each lesson is adapted to the student’s pace, goals, and preferred style.

I employ interactive exercises, role-playing, multimedia resources, and cultural immersion to make lessons practical, engaging, and memorable. My unique skill lies in helping students overcome challenges in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, turning obstacles into measurable progress.

I strive to create a supportive, motivating, and inspiring learning environment, where students feel confident exploring language and expressing themselves freely. Lessons are designed to balance academic rigour with practical communication skills.

Teaching French is more than a career—it is my passion. I aim to provide a learning experience that builds skill, confidence, and cultural appreciation for every student.

About the lesson

My French teaching methodology is focused on practical communication and strong foundations. I believe students should clearly understand grammar and vocabulary before using them in real situations.

I use real-life examples and case studies such as travel conversations, interviews, workplace discussions, academic presentations, and social interactions. These activities help students connect classroom learning with daily life.

I explain grammar in a simple way and give regular practice in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Problem-solving tasks are included to help students think in French and respond confidently.

Motivation is very important in my classroom. I encourage students consistently and help them set clear learning goals. Integrity is one of my core values, and I provide honest and constructive feedback in a respectful manner. I am flexible and adjust my teaching style according to the learner’s needs and level.

Besides French, I also teach related subjects such as communication skills, pronunciation improvement, grammar strengthening, writing development, and exam preparation. My goal is to help students become fluent and confident French speakers.
