My name is Gabe, and I am eager to break down seemingly difficult topics to hard-working students so that they can grow in their foundational understanding. I place an emphasis on the fundamental lessons of subjects, as that is the basis and structure for developing. A typical lesson plan would be very student-engaging: I would introduce a topic and have the student ask many questions and explain it themselves. Then, after the basic understanding, we would do examples together, followed by independent student work. The key here is basic, simple understanding so that it may become second nature. I wasn't the brightest kid throughout school, but I worked hard to achieve the academic success I desired. What helped me was teachers who were patient, passionate, and uplifting一the same aspects I hope to provide students. I can work with anyone K-12. I was a former actor and camp counselor, so I love connecting with people and staying personable.
