Teaching is not about understanding but also to link it with real life and get better understanding for long-term retention. For e.g. In mensuration we study about figures like cone, cuboid etc. but if we link cone with a cone of ice cream or cylinder with the cylindrical tank of our house or frustum with bucket we get better understanding and good control on subjects.
