About
I have been studying in biology, science, and public health for the past 10 years, receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology in 2020 from Geneva College and my Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Global Health in 2022. I am still actively learning as I pursue my Ph.D. and believe in always being a lifelong learner.
My experience with students and as a tutor has been an amazing experience, working as a tutor since college and loving to help students and peers discover and understand new material with inspiration and passion. I’ve worked as an on-campus tutor both one-on-one and in groups, as well as a Teaching Assistant for introductory Biology. Simplifying content is always my goal, and making learning and critical thinking fun and visual is my approach!

I have over five years of tutoring experience in biology, science, and the humanities as well. My teaching method is to make learning simple and engaging, getting you to think outside of the box.
All of my lessons are offered virtually, but are shaped around a central theme, and give you lots of ways to grasp the material no matter what type of learner you are.
Lessons are typically geared toward high school to college level. Introductory Biology is best geared for college freshmen - sophomores or those looking for early college prep.
I can also simplify content for elementary to middle school levels. Would love to work with you to learn together today!
