About Jake
I am a 25yo MPhys Physics graduate, currently working as a Senior Analyst for a bank in London. I live in Sheffield, which if you haven’t been, has many many hills. In my spare time I enjoying baking bread, walking in the Peak District and getting coffee with friends! ️ ️
When studying, I completed a teaching internship over the summer of 2018 and this kickstarted my enjoyment for teaching.
I do tutoring on the side of my job as it’s flexible and rewarding to help students grow in academia.

I teach the great subjects of Maths and Physics, from KS2 to degree level.
My teaching style is catered to each individual, I try to make lessons engaging but informative, tutoring is a team effort and I love seeing the lightbulb moments in lessons when things start click! In addition I try to use methods to teach students in ways that suit them, as I understand what works for one student might not work for another.
