About Jen
I am an Anatomical Sciences graduate from the University of Dundee currently studying for a masters degree in Cardiovascular Science. I have been tutoring maths and biology from primary school level to A-level for over 3 years now and have found it really rewarding. I have tutored over 30 different pupils and have recognised the need to understand the individual students needs and provide a range of activities to keep the student engaged.

My teaching approach focusses on getting to know the student and the ares in which they are struggling through an initial quiz and then by going through it together and highlighting strengths and areas of improvement. I like to prepare a range of activities such as quizzes, games, practice questions and worked examples to make the lesson as engaging as possible and find out which teaching methods are most effective for the individual. I feel it is important to promote confidence in the student and ensure they are comfortable in the lesson.
