About Swathy
Hello! I am Swathy Chandran, an M.Sc Chemistry postgraduate from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore. I have also completed my research internship at IISc Bangalore, working on synthesis of novel polymers for electrochromic applications.
I have a strong academic background with 8.43 CGPA in (concealed information) and I have published a research paper in an international journal. My passion is to make Chemistry easy, logical and interesting for students.
I decided to start tutoring because I truly enjoy teaching and simplifying tough concepts. I understand where students get stuck, because I was once there too. I want to share my knowledge and help you build confidence in Chemistry.
I am friendly, patient and I explain in English, Hindi and Malayalam as per your comfort.

Chemistry can feel difficult only when basics are not clear. My method is simple - concept first, then problems.
I start by understanding where the student is stuck, then I explain the topic from the fundamentals with real-life examples and diagrams. For every topic in Organic, Physical and Inorganic Chemistry, I provide clear notes, important mechanisms/reactions to remember, and step-by-step problem solving.
My classes are for students from Class 9 to 12, BSc Chemistry students, and also for those preparing for entrance exams. I focus on doubt-clearing, homework help, and exam preparation to help you score better and actually love Chemistry.
Classes are interactive, friendly and available in English, Hindi and Malayalam. First class is a demo to understand your needs.
