About Alphan

Learning to code can seem intimidating at first, but I truly believe that with the right methods and enough practice, anyone can bring their ideas to life through programming. My goal as a tutor is to show students that coding is not about being a genius — it’s about being curious, consistent, and open to making mistakes. While there are many AI tools available to help people learn to code, I believe nothing replaces the value of human support — especially when it comes to handling the frustration that often arises during real-world projects. I'm here to help students stay motivated and confident, even when things get tough. As a good listener, I strive to create a safe and open learning environment where students feel free to ask anything without hesitation. Whether it's a basic concept or a more advanced question, I encourage curiosity and ensure that every student feels heard and supported throughout their learning journey. In addition to my passion for teaching, I hold a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex, where I focused on practical applications of Python in fields like computer vision and machine learning. My approach is always professional, well-structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. You can expect clear communication, organised lesson materials, and a supportive learning environment throughout our sessions.

About the lesson

I offer online Python lessons designed specifically for absolute beginners with no prior programming experience. Each lesson includes approximately 1 hour of live instruction where I combine both theoretical explanations and live coding to help students understand core concepts clearly and practically. After the main session, I provide an optional additional hour dedicated to guided practice. During this time, students can work on tailored exercises and ask questions related to what they’ve learned. This flexible structure allows students to not only learn but also actively apply their knowledge with support. My teaching methodology focuses on clarity, structure, and patience. I break down complex topics into digestible steps and use simple analogies, visual examples, and interactive coding to make learning engaging. Mistakes are always welcome — they’re part of the process! I hold a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex and have hands-on experience with Python through AI and computer vision projects. I’ve helped students from non-technical backgrounds build confidence in programming and solve real-world problems with code. Lessons are ideal for school leavers, university students from non-computer science backgrounds, or adults looking to explore programming for the first time. The number of lessons and the pace can be adjusted based on your goals and learning style. I hold a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex, and I’ve worked on several AI and computer vision projects. My experience includes helping classmates and junior developers understand key programming concepts, both in academic and practical settings.
