About Areeb
Science has captivated me long before it shaped my career. My journey has taken me across two countries, immersing myself in research and training that has deepened my appreciation for the field. Along the way, I’ve learned that the most remarkable scientists are those who can share their knowledge with clarity and excitement. This is the kind of tutor I aspire to be. My goal isn’t just to teach science; I want to spark curiosity and foster a genuine love for discovery in my students.

With an MSc in Materials Science from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology and a BSc in Materials Engineering (Nanotechnology) from GIK Institute, Pakistan, I bring hands-on experience and deep expertise to every lesson. My background spans intensive training in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I don’t just teach science—I live it, and I share that excitement with my students.
My lessons are crafted for O Level and A Level students (ages 14–19) preparing for Cambridge International exams in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. I focus on nurturing true understanding—not just memorising facts—because students who grasp the 'why' behind each topic approach exams with far greater confidence and curiosity.
In a typical session, we begin by identifying gaps or misconceptions in the student's current understanding, then work through concepts using clear explanations, worked examples, and past paper questions. I adapt my pace entirely to the student — some need slow, foundational rebuilding; others need targeted exam technique work. Sessions are typically 60 to 90 minutes long.
Having spent years working at the intersection of physics, chemistry and materials science, I can draw real-world connections that make abstract topics click — whether that's explaining atomic bonding through the lens of nanoparticle synthesis or unpacking electromagnetic principles through device physics. Science stops being intimidating when it starts making sense.
