About Dean

I am a Physics tutor with over four years of teaching experience and an MPhys degree. My work focuses on biophysics and the physics of living systems. I help students understand how physical laws shape biological processes. Key topics include molecular motors, membrane transport, and nerve impulse propagation. I also teach biomechanics, linking forces, motion, and structure in living organisms. Complex ideas are explained step by step, with strong emphasis on intuition. I regularly work with biology students who want clarity in physics-based concepts. Pre-med students benefit from lessons that connect physics directly to physiology. Equations are always tied to real biological meaning. Visual explanations and conceptual models play an important role.
