About Zara
I am a Physics tutor with over four years of experience and a MSc in Nuclear Physics. My teaching blends core physics with geophysics and earth sciences to build a wider understanding of how our planet works. I help students explore plate tectonics, seismic waves, and climate physics through clear explanations and practical examples. Earth’s structure is taught using data-driven models that show how layers interact and evolve. I also introduce atmospheric dynamics to explain weather patterns and long-term climate behaviour. Short, focused lessons on geological processes help students see the links between physics and Earth’s changing surface. I guide learners in analysing real datasets to strengthen scientific thinking. Many of my students come from environmental science backgrounds, and I support them with material that connects directly to their field. I also enjoy working with those who are curious about planetary science and the physics behind other worlds. My approach encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and steady confidence-building.
