About Ines
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BA in Physics. My passion lies in guiding students through the fascinating world of condensed matter physics and materials science. I focus on helping learners understand the fundamental properties of solids and liquids. I specialise in crystal structures, band theory, superconductivity, and semiconductors. I show how these concepts connect directly to real-world technologies. Lessons include practical examples from electronics, energy, and advanced materials research. I emphasise both theory and hands-on understanding to make abstract ideas tangible. My teaching approach encourages curiosity and deep comprehension. I tailor each session to a student’s pace and interests. I use clear explanations and relevant applications to make complex phenomena accessible. My goal is to support students in unlocking the secrets of materials. Together, we explore how these insights drive technological innovation.

My teaching approach in Physics is highly practical and student-centred. I focus on making complex topics simple and understandable. Core subjects I cover include Electromagnetism, Circuits and Current, Waves and Optics, and an introduction to Quantum Physics. I also explore Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics to give students a broad perspective. I use analogies and real-life examples to explain abstract concepts. Simulations and interactive experiments help students visualise difficult phenomena. Lessons are designed to be engaging, making learning both fun and effective. I adapt my teaching style to match each student’s learning pace and style. Assignments and problem-solving exercises are tailored to strengthen understanding. I emphasise conceptual clarity before moving to complex calculations. Students are guided to connect theory with practical applications. I encourage curiosity and questioning to deepen comprehension. Every lesson aims to build confidence and mastery. My approach ensures that students not only learn but excel in exams and future scientific endeavours.
