About Susie
My name is Susie and I am 3rd year student at the University of Leeds and will complete my integrated master's in Natural Sciences in 2026. Following my graduation, I intend to begin a PGCE in biology at Leeds Trinity University.
I'd like to offer KS3 and GCSE tutoring for maths, biology and French. I achieved 3 As in my maths, biology and geography A-levels and I am bilingual in French.
I have experience working as an Activity Leader for Target English International summer camp in York [2024], and volunteering as a Young Leader for the British Gymnastics [2017-2020].

I will adapt my lessons to my student's needs. To tailor the lessons, goals will be discussed before lessons and there will be an opportunity for student-teacher feedback at the end of every lesson.
Lessons will begin with short starter questions to consolidate knowledge from previous sessions. Past exam questions (and questions I've made myself) will be the primary method for testing knowledge, going through the curriculum and refining exam technique by reviewing mark schemes.
If requested, short homework exercises can be set.
Beginning tutoring can be stressful for students, to ease nerves the first lessons will be focused on gaining confidence and not being afraid to make mistakes before adding more complex exercises.
