I am an alumni of Auburn University. My degree is in psychology and I was a teaching assistant while in my undergraduate years. Currently, I am a Masters of Social Work (MSW) candidate at the University of Southern California. I really loved my time as teaching assistant and I strive to use all of the experience I gained from that to continue helping others. I'm looking forward to continuing to help those of college level (bachelor degree) and lower to achieve in their social science classes.
My method is centered on finding individual strengths and using those strengths to help the student obtain knowledge in the field. By making it interesting and entertaining, I've been able to help many students succeed on everything from tests to writing assignments. I also have a large array of study techniques to help students progress in there off time in a sustainable nature.
I've been helping friends with school work since I was in middle school, but in college I've had the opportunity for about a year and a half to help struggling youths through their academic issues. Most recently, I spent six months as a teaching assistant for psychology, in which case I helped a large number of students coming from various backgrounds. Those who were able to reach out and use my study methods/worksheets did perform better on tests and felt more comfortable asking questions or for help from me and their professors.
