About Katie
Hello! I am someone who's very passionate about sharing my love and knowledge of music with others! I don't want you to feel bored in your tutoring lessons; fostering a love for music will make you want to know as much as you can, so you can produce the most beautiful music possible!
Throughout my academics, I've completed 10 years of concert piano lessons, been the lead singer and keyboardist for different groups in my former church and community, and have competed in choir and band competitively. I've also completed many music theory classes. I believe that having a strong foundation of music theory is what makes the great musicians great.
I've been writing songs for years, as it's been one of my greatest allies in coping with strong emotions. If you're struggling with just the basics of how to write a song, I've got you. If it's the lyric writing that's making it difficult, I can help you there as well!
I'm very passionate about helping others to make beautiful and meaningful music!
