About Alejandro
I am a 25-year-old multi-instrumentalist from Oakland, California. I came to NYC to participate in the best musical environment available! I have been working here for 5 years playing live concerts on countless stages as well as producing music in many studios, as well as from home. I grew up with a strong sense of community and I am excited to pay that opportunity forward to the next generation of musicians. It is important to me that our mentors are actively searching for students. So if you choose me as your teacher, I will meet you where you’re at! I can play all types of music. And I love to learn what my students are interested in as well. Let's grow together!

In a hands-on, performance-based learning environment, I will guide the class to learn songs from many styles of music to engage their curiosity. Each day we will warm up our minds with music reading and music theory lessons. And from there we will spend the rest of class learning how to play a song. Depending on the aptitude of the class, we may be able to tackle some challenging songs! And of course, there is more to being a musician than playing music. I will also help my students develop their own identity as a respectful and confident young musician!
