He has played music variously since age 6 in a variety of settings, instruments, bands and genres.

Oliver Taylor was born in Australia to English parents he moved to the UK at age 6 and began taking clarinet lessons however his true passion lay with the guitar and singing buying his first guitar aged 11 from a pawn shop.
Following a traumatic incident rendering him unable to pick up a guitar for 17 years(!) he recommitted to playing music proffesionally at age 30 after many years working in an office (and playing in bands on the side as a multi-nstrumentalist), he knows both how to overcome blocks to playing and has taught himself twice.
Whilst playing and teaching full time, Oliver is entirely self taught as a singer and guitarist. Whilst technique is incredibly important his focus is, even for complete beginners to advanced students, on discovering your unique playing style and voice so as to play with musicality and beauty.
