About Samuel

As a multi-instrumentalist, I have encountered the frustrations of learning a new instrument and expressing my creativity through it, and I understand that picking up an instrument could seem very harrowing. However, through my lessons I hope to guide you in your journey to playing and writing your favorite songs, and as a result build that confidence with your instrument by going through all the fundamentals needed to become the musician you want to be. My teaching experience includes being an academic tutor in high school for younger kids, as well as a Student Music Director for musicals, and I'm a classically trained pianist and self-taught guitarist/drummer for multiple bands.

About the lesson

Whether you're a flat-out beginner or you play but are need of an extra push, my weekly lessons will teach you the fundamental basics needed to learn your favorite songs from correct hand/finger placement to the theory needed for understanding chords and melodies. As a songwriter, I will give my personal insight and advice on writing original music and how to structure songs and write catchy melodies/hooks.
