I am a dedicated and experienced professional who values creating a welcoming, respectful, and supportive learning environment. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged, and confident. My goal is to make learning engaging, enjoyable, and rewarding for everyone.

About the lesson

My Approach as an Art Tutor

With a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Art and experience in drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, and design, I believe art should be creative, enjoyable, and accessible to everyone. My teaching approach is supportive and hands-on, allowing each student to learn at their own pace while developing confidence in their artistic abilities.

Teaching Method and Techniques

I combine instruction in fundamental art techniques with plenty of room for creativity and personal expression. Depending on the student's interests and experience, lessons may include drawing, painting, color and composition, sculpture, mixed media, crafts, and creative design. I demonstrate techniques step-by-step and then encourage students to experiment and develop their own individual style.

A Typical Lesson

Each lesson begins with a brief introduction to the day's project, materials, and techniques. I provide a demonstration and guide the student through the creative process while allowing them the freedom to make their artwork their own. Lessons are adapted to the student's age, skill level, interests, and goals.

What Sets Me Apart

I am a multi-talented artist who enjoys working in many different mediums rather than focusing on only one area of art. Just as importantly, I believe there is no single "right" way to be creative. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, learning new skills, and expressing themselves through art.

Who I Teach

I welcome students of all ages and experience levels, including children, teens, college students, adults, and seniors. Lessons can be designed for complete beginners, experienced artists looking to expand their skills, students who need additional help with an art class, or anyone who simply wants to discover—or rediscover—the enjoyment of making art.
