About Sara

Hi! I’m an Italian native speaker and language tutor with several years of teaching experience. I normally teach Italian, but because I genuinely love languages, I also started teaching Spanish, a language I use every day in a Spanish-speaking environment.

I first learned Spanish naturally through speaking and immersion, and later focused on improving it grammatically and academically as well. This gave me a very practical but also structured understanding of the language, which I now enjoy sharing with students.

My tutoring experience mainly comes from teaching Italian, which I’ve been doing for quite a few years already, and I currently have students who are very happy with their progress and lessons. Over time, I realized that the same teaching approach works really well for Spanish too: relaxed but precise, conversation-based but with strong grammatical foundations.

I have a Master’s degree and attended a linguistic high school, so languages have always been a huge part of my life. I feel like I naturally have a “language brain”: learning languages comes easily to me, and I genuinely take pride in helping others learn them in a way that feels clear, enjoyable, and motivating.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized, interactive, and focused on making you actively use the language from the very beginning. Everyone learns differently, so I focus on figuring out what works best for them, whether that’s using visuals, examples from real life, or breaking things down step by step until it clicks. I usually work with slides, grammar explanations, exercises, videos, and conversation practice to keep lessons dynamic and engaging. After explaining a topic, I like to immediately ask questions and practice together to make sure everything is clear and naturally understood, not just memorized. I also give exercises or small assignments to review independently, which we then correct and discuss together in the following lesson. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, improving consistently, and gaining confidence step by step.

Lessons usually go for about an hour, but I’m flexible with timing depending on focus and energy levels.

My classes are for students of all ages and levels who want to improve, feel more confident, and enjoy learning along the way.
