I promote and cultivate positive interactions with students. I have experience in facilities and schools with a variety of individuals from every conceivable background, interest and skill-level. I believe that we all benefited from our classes together. I encourage all students to keep a sketchbook, and maintain a regular practice. I have assigned homework when that is desired.

I teach with a project-based approach, so that as well as learning the techniques for the materials we're using, you'll have a finished piece at the end. Lesson plans are geared for each skill and developmental level, and techniques & processes are taught at the students' ability and interest level. I provide direction and constructive tips whenever needed. I cover some studio and material storage and care information.
