About Daunye
Hello! I am an advanced piano student and teacher! I have been playing piano since I was 6. I played Jazz piano and bass throughout Middle, High School and university. I studied Jazz at San Francisco State University for two years. I am currently completing my BA for Interdisciplinary Music Studies at Berklee School of Music online. I teach 20+ students virtually each week.

I love music! I took traditional private piano lessons as a kid though my true passion for music was sparked when I took two practical music theory classes in college called "Modern Musicianship" and "Improvisation". My teaching style focuses on teaching music as a language. I love to give students the tools to be able to listen to and play along with their favorite songs. Let's put the "play" back into "playing music!"
