I believe that everyone can enjoy both music and learning, and it's such a delight when the love of those two things come together. It's always satisfying looking back at the progress each student makes, and being a part of that with them.

I enjoy tailoring the music we work on to the specific needs of the student, including how fun and/or nitty gritty they want to get.
I typically give my students a technical exercise to be working through, and then teach reading and expression through learning new music.
I also have students who primarily want help working on music for band class, or other ensembles they are in.
I'm happy to meet any need, from beginner until music school level.
