About Emily
I am a music education student at UWEC. My main instrument is French horn, but I have experience in teaching most instruments, including piano. I currently work at a studio and teach beginning piano students from there. I took music theory my sophomore year in high school and just retook it last year as a freshman in college. I cannot wait to meet you and see what you've been learning!

I want students to learn what they want to learn. I can help beginning piano students with any piece that they may need help with. One method for teaching piano that I use a lot is reading music through intervals because it allows students to be able to play harder pieces without memorizing all of the notes on the staff. I also can teach music theory 1 and 2. I did very well in those classes and can answer any questions you may have about beginning music theory.

I do not give a free lesson to incoming students, as I have to pay the fee for the studio I work at with each lesson. However, feel free to ask me any questions and I will be sure to answer them before your first lesson.
