I’ve always wanted to learn piano, particularly because I’ve dreamed of being able to play composers like Bach and Ravel, but I never knew where to start as an adult. Taking lessons with Niki has made the process feel both approachable and genuinely exciting. She’s incredibly patient and knowledgeable, but also pays attention to what I actually want to learn rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I really appreciate that she explains the musical ideas behind what we’re playing, not just the notes. I’ve already become much more comfortable reading music and understanding technique, and I’m finally working toward playing pieces I’ve wanted to play for years. She creates a really relaxed environment while still pushing me to improve. I’d highly recommend her to any adult who has always wanted to learn piano but thought they were starting too late.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Niki. My daughter is a shy 6-year-old who used to get nervous trying new things, and from the very first lesson, Niki created such a warm, encouraging space that all of that melted away. It's been nothing short of amazing to watch.

What started as a little hesitant curiosity has blossomed into an absolute love of piano. She talks about her lessons all week, practices without ever being asked, and lights up the moment it's time to sit down at the keys. We’re so glad we switched to Niki as our piano teacher. Our 11-year-old daughter was working on RCM Level 2 but wasn’t really enjoying piano before. Since starting lessons with Niki, her confidence has grown so much and she’s actually excited to practice again. Lessons are supportive, clear, and really well paced for her age. Niki is an incredble audio teacher. She has been helping me set up my home studio recording rig for the past several months, and I wouldn't be where I am without her. Niki’s been teaching my 12-year-old son drums for the past few months and it’s honestly been such a great fit. She has this very calm, encouraging vibe that really works for him — not too formal, but still focused. What I love most is how she gets him learning by playing actual songs he’s into, which keeps him really engaged. He comes out of every lesson excited to show me what he’s learned, and he’s picking things up way faster than I expected.
