About Danae
Hi there! My name is Danae, and I'm an actor/ musician. I'm half Cypriot and half Chilean, but I grew up in Switzerland, so I have a lot of experience meeting people and learning music from all around the world!
I'm passionate about the performing arts, having grown up with a musical background, and I want to help you develop your skills as a musician, in whatever capacity you wish for that to be.
I have a CertHE in Music and Musical Theatre from the University of Chichester Conservatoire and plenty of experience as a performer/ musician, in instrumental and vocal ensembles, as well as theatre and MT. My first instrument is the piano, but I also do percussion and I enjoy singing. I'm also a big fan of music theory, so I'm sure I can find a way to help you understand- and hopefully enjoy- learning about music as a subject.
I'm currently based in Guildford, Surrey, as I am studying at GSA.

- I've worked with many children/ students in private (private music / piano lessons, recreational 'jam sessions') and pedagogical settings (primary school music teacher, Musical Director for children's shows)
- I have experience as a performer in music, dance and theatre (both solo and ensemble) so we can also work on performance technique and tips
