About Irene
Good singing is not about shouting louder, but about understanding how the air moves through your body without restriction. I utilize my 10 years of experience to help teens and professionals move between their head and chest voice with total consistency. We work on microphone technique and harmony singing while ensuring your vocal health remains the absolute priority. My approach relies on the idea that your warm-up exercises should be just as engaging as the performance itself.
I integrate performance recordings into our schedule, which we review together each month to track your genuine progress. Whether we are tackling a difficult ballad or a simple folk tune, we focus on the emotional delivery as much as the pitch. My lessons provide a space where you can explore your vocal range without any unnecessary tension.
By keeping the atmosphere light and playful, I make sure the process feels sustainable for all learners. We just start singing and see where it goes.

Singing remains a way for me to preserve the chanson tradition of Charlebois and Celine. Because you want to find your own voice, I prioritize comfort and technical health above all else. My 10 years of experience as a performer and teacher give me the tools to help you navigate stage fear management. Since earning my degree at McGill, I have focused on the mechanics of vocal range extension.
You will find that I am patient and playful in every session. My background as a native Quebecois speaker informs how I approach phrasing and diction for vocalists. Success comes when you stop thinking and start feeling the music.
