About Joey
I have just graduated from university with a degree in BA (Hons) Music. Since I've been at college, I have taught 6 children the piano in either my own home or theirs. I have got an ABRSM grade 8 qualification in both the violin and piano, as well as in music theory. Since playing from a young age, I discovered that music is my passion and I would love to help anyone who is willing to learn and share the same passion for music as I do.

I give lessons to beginners up to intermediate level on both the piano and violin. My lesson structures vary with individuals to help each person learn in the way that works best for them. I usually start the lessons with a technical element, i.e. scales and if they are a beginner, to help them read music first and/or get used to the instrument. Each lesson has a goal so even if it is something small, I would like my student to walk away from each lesson having learnt something.
