About Zachary

I specialize in Rock and Metal, but also have experience in Blues, Classical, Jazz, and more. I was the guitarist for my schools Jazz Ensemble in high school and college. I worked at School of Rock in The Woodlands, TX after graduating from university. I ran my own music lesson business during college.

People ask me who my favorite music is, my favorite band, favorite style of music, but that's a difficult question. I love everything.

In high school I went from System of a Down, to Hawthorne Heights and Silverstein, to As Blood Runs Black, The Black Dahlia Murder, The Faceless, etc.

Now I have chilled out and just want to play some relaxing vibes. But I can still teach you how to do some crazy shredding stuff.

About the lesson

I can share diagrams and tablature of finger exercises that will get your fingers stretching and moving the way you need them to.

I can also teach how to read sheet music.

We can work on a particular song you are interested in.

A typical lesson looks like:
- warm-up finger exercises and technique
- check progress and homework, etc.
- learn some theory, chords, scales related to today's lesson
- apply the new content with a real example of a song or jam track
