As a tutor, I take a clear, supportive, and individualized approach to teaching music—especially bass clef reading for brass players like trombone, euphonium, and tuba students. I believe that strong fundamentals build confident musicians, so I focus on clarity, repetition, and real-world musical application.
My teaching method combines music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and technical exercises tailored to your instrument. I adapt to each student’s pace and learning style, whether you're a beginner just learning notes or an intermediate player preparing for auditions.
A typical lesson includes:
Warm-ups and tone development
Bass clef reading practice with step-by-step guidance
Rhythm and articulation work
Sight-reading exercises
Review of solo, ensemble, or school band music
Q&A or reflection to reinforce learning
