About David
I am a music student at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, I started playing guitar and studying theory thirteen years ago, I trained mainly with rock and blues, although I have also studied Jazz and other popular music genres. I currently play in a band and I move in musical circles with friends / colleagues.

A good starting point, especially with new students, it is a diagnostic exercise, to determine where the student is at a musical level, what are their objectives, etc. Once this reading has been made, it is best to provide the student with tools that help him to become familiar and comfortable with music and, if appropriate, his instrument. I consider important to approach concepts (harmony, melody, rhythm) as well as technical resources (scales, fingering, intonation). The ultimate goal is to get the student to explore and develop their own language and musical identity, based on their particular tastes.
