About Lindsay
I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Lee University. What sets me apart is my professionalism paired with a strong relational approach. I value consistency, communication, and trust, and I take my role as an educator seriously. Parents and students can feel confident knowing lessons are intentional, structured, and guided by years of experience.
I work with beginners through advanced students of all ages, and my goal is not only skill development, but helping each student develop confidence and a lifelong love of music.

I’m a student-centered teacher who believes music is for everyone. Because every learner is different, I use a flexible approach and adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s age, ability level, learning style, and goals. My lessons are encouraging, engaging, and designed to help students feel confident and successful.
A typical lesson includes a quick check-in, review of previous material, hands-on learning with new concepts, and time to apply skills in a way that’s meaningful to the student. I focus on progress, not perfection, and always leave students with clear next steps.
What sets me apart is my heart for relationships and my experience. I have over 20 years of teaching experience in private lessons, classroom music education, and church music leadership. I believe students learn best when they feel supported, known, and inspired. My goal is not just to teach music, but to help students develop a lifelong love of it.
I teach students of all ages and skill levels...from beginners to advanced musicians and I welcome anyone who wants to learn, grow, or reconnect with music!
