Methodology
My methods of teaching always includes music theory, harmony, intervals, sight reading, music symbols, major keys, the sharps and flats, dynamics and overall chordal structure. Also, performance, projection, developing pitch, understanding crescendo and decrescendo markings. Additionally, understanding time signatures, tempo, and accenting of notes to the student is part of Elaine’s method of teaching music to Guitar, Piano and Vocal students. I also obtain music for student as part of my lessons. I am willing to travel and/or teach remotely.
Background
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Music and I have been teaching more than 25 years. I have had success with students who have performed at Coachella in 2019 and have records out in New York.
